A two-year-old boy has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a car ploughed through a playground at a nursery in Cheshire. Emergency services including the police, fire service and ambulance service arrived at the scene in Ellesmere Port as two other children sustained minor injuries. A woman aged 63 has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. The incident took place just before 10am on Monday, June 15, on Vale Road in the Whitby area of the town.
