According to the Hollywood Reporter , the Academy Award winner, 70, came to blows with Wes Bentley, who played his son, Jamie Dutton, on the show. The outlet claimed Costner encouraged the “American Beauty” alum, 47, to “ditch” show creator Taylor Sheridan’s script and play a certain scene differently.
