Emmerdale actress Amelia Flanagan has landed a new film role outside the ITV soap. The 17-year-old performer has played April Windsor since 2014 and is the older sibling of twins Isabella and William Flanagan, who portray Hope Dobbs and Joseph Brown in competing ITV soap Coronation Street . In recent Emmerdale storylines, April has become entangled in distressing drug dealing, human trafficking, and sex trafficking plots, as villains Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths) and Ray Walters ( Joe Absolom )
