Founders of the Animal Lovers League (A-L-L) say lack of funds, coupled with expensive veterinary bills, have made it hard for them to sustain care for the animals. They note that the group's priority now is to work with other groups to re-home the animals. The shelter which has a No-Kill policy, lost its tenancy at The Animal Lodge in Sungei Tengah after allegations of neglect. It also owed 53 months of rent. Charlotte Lim reports.
