Modi says US did not mediate ceasefire with Pakistan as India-Canada ties thaw

India has once again insisted there was no US involvement in its ceasefire with Pakistan. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has told US President Donald Trump that the truce happened directly through existing military channels between India and Pakistan. Mr Trump had said that the ceasefire came about after he intervened.
