Birmingham stabbing: Tributes to 'nicest kid you could meet' as boy, 12, killed and teen arrested

A 12-year-old boy who was stabbed to death while walking home in his school uniform has been described as "the nicest kid you could meet". West Midlands Police said the victim was found with serious injuries near Scribers Lane, Hall Green, shortly after 3pm on Tuesday. He was taken to hospital but died from his injuries, the force added. Police said the boy's family have been informed and are being supported by specially-trained officers. A boy aged 14 has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
