Police have launched an investigation after a man in his 20s was raced to hospital with gunshot wounds last night. Officers were called to reports of "shots being fired" in Sutton Coldfield at around 11.30pm on Saturday. A man in his 20s was shot in the incident and sustained serious injuries while inside a property on Mount View. It is believed the incident is a "targeted attack", police said.
