Piti Disyatat currently serves as Deputy Governor for Monetary Stability overseeing monetary policy, financial markets and operations, as well as foreign exchange reserve management. In addition to his extensive experience in the Bank of Thailand, he has held various positions at the Bank for International Settlements and has also worked as an economist at the International Monetary Fund. He holds a Bachelor of Economics (First Class Honours) from the Australian National University and a Ph.D.
