A woman whose husband died eight months after a terminal cancer diagnosis, despite not having “any signs”, has said navigating grief has helped her learn “life is for living”. Jemma Hough, 42, a property sourcer from Sharnbrook, north Bedfordshire, said her husband Jon experienced stomach pain and weight gain in March 2024, but they attributed this to middle age or food intolerances.
