The NHS has issued a “serious” health warning about a potentially fatal disease. Two people have died in Kent following an outbreak of meningitis . The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has confirmed at least 13 cases of meningitis between Friday and Sunday. And it has been reported that a university student and a sixth-form pupil have died from the infection . Health officials are currently arranging antibiotics for University of Kent students in the Canterbury area as a precautionary measure.
