A man whose Los Angeles home was engulfed by a raging wildfire died clutching onto a hosepipe as he desperately tried to extinguish the flames. Victor Shaw, 66, was named as one of the five victims of LA’s ferocious fires after his family discovered his lifeless body on the street outside his home. Victor, who lived on Montrose Avenue in Altadena, refused to join his sister Shari Shaw when she evacuated for safety as the Eaton Fire spread towards them before eventually swallowing the property
