A man has been sentenced to five years in jail for a hit-and-run in west Dublin that killed a husband and wife. John Halpin, 46, of Whitestown Avenue, Blanchardstown, pleaded guilty to dangerous driving causing the deaths of 39-year-old Anthony Hogg and his 38-year-old wife, Georgina Hogg Moore, on 26 December 2024.
