Pet fraud scams have cost Brits more than £7million in the last five years. One of these sees unethical breeders pass off mixed breed puppies as popular and expensive dogs. Which is what happened to author Charlotte Fallowfield, who expected her £800 ‘mini cockapoo’ Waffle to grow to 10kg… but ended up at a whopping 26kg!
