Oct. 16 (UPI) -- HBO is giving a glimpse of the new series The Seduction . The network shared a trailer for the show Thursday featuring Anamaria Vartolomei as Isabelle de Merteuil. The Seduction reimagines the French novel Dangerous Liaisons , which previously inspired a play, a 1988 film starring Glenn Close , and the 1999 movie Cruel Intentions , starring Sarah Michelle Gellar . The new adaptation follows the Marquise de Merteuil (Vartolomei) as she strives to becoming the leading courtesan
