Gold is well known as a safe-haven asset in the face of various risks. Whether we are talking about inflation risks, falling interest rates, economic crises or recessions, or damaging geopolitical events, investors – especially small ones, but also large ones – choose to protect their wealth with gold. The reasons for such decisions are largely cultural. When we think of investment stability, gold is likely the first image that comes to mind. However, not every event triggers a rush to gold.
