Iran’s Army Chief Major General Amir Hatami said on Monday that Iran was attacked while engaged in talks, accusing foreign adversaries of trying to portray the country’s problems, sanctions and even the eight-year Iran-Iraq war as consequences of the Islamic Republic’s existence.
