Italy's ambassador to Poland, Luca Franchetti Pardo participated in Warsaw in the commemoration of Risorgimento hero Francesco Nullo(Bergamo 1826-Krzykawka 1863) who lost his life for Poland's independence. In front of the statue dedicated to Nullo, the ambassador stressed how his figure still "reminds all of us of the value of civic commitment and embodies the deep and fraternal bond between Italy and Poland."
