EU and Jordan Inaugurate Cultural Heritage Rehabilitation Projects at Mechareus and Abila

H.E. Pierre-Christophe Chatzisavas, Ambassador of the European Union to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, H.E. Mr. Luciano Pezzotti, Ambassador of Italy, and Director-General of the Department of Antiquities Fawzi Abudanah inaugurated the rehabilitation works at the ancient sites of Mechareus and Abila, as part of a €10 million European Union-funded project to enhance cultural heritage and promote sustainable local development in Jordan.
