Deputy Premier and Transport and Infrastructure Minister Matteo Salvini on Monday ruled out diverting funds allocated to the project to build a bridge across the Strait of Messina connecting Sicily to mainland Italy to addressing the emergency regarding the damage caused in southern Italy by Cyclone Harry last week.     League leader Salvini said it was not possible to divert the funding from the bridge, as opposition parties have called for, or any other major infrastructure project.     "
