Petrol prices have risen to a new Iran war high with the RAC warning of further increases to come. The average price of unleaded now costs 158.52p a litre - higher than the previous peak of 158.31p a litre on April 15. Petrol prices fell by more than a penny until the start of May, when they began rising again. The price of Brent crude oil has soared since the start of the Middle East conflict at the end of February - in turn, this has sent the price of petrol and diesel spiralling. The RAC
