Petrol prices have risen to a new Iran war high with the RAC warning of further increases to come. The average price of unleaded now costs 158.52p a litre - higher than the previous peak of 158.31p a litre on April 15. Petrol prices fell by more than a penny until the start of May, when they began rising again.
