Referendum

Thai voters go to the polls on Sunday, 8 February. For the first time in Thai history, a national referendum will be held on the same day as a general election. Voters will be asked if they agree that there should be a new Constitution. Angela Lim takes a look at the mechanics involved, while Saksith Saiyasombut examines the Pheu Thai party’s slide from power as well as the influence of the Shinawatra dynasty.
