Tomasz Michalski (Ph.D. Columbia University Economics, 2006) is an Associate Professor of Economics at HEC Paris. He is interested in the economic phenomena that arise across and within spatially connected economic regions. His research is therefore in international economics and finance (especially in topics around international trade, banking and exchange rates) and economic geography (cities and the spatial organization of production).
