European leaders and Ukrainian President Zelenskyy will do their best to appeal to President Trump at a meeting in the White House on Monday. Trump officials took to Sunday talk shows to defend Trump’s handling of his meeting with Russian President Putin and claim Trump never went to the meeting hoping for a ceasefire deal, despite Trump saying such before heading to Alaska.
