Russian tank flies US flag near Ukrainian front line

A Russian armoured vehicle has been shown on state media proudly flying an American flag on the battlefield in an apparent taunt to Ukraine. The video shows a captured US-supplied M113 armoured personnel carrier bearing both the US and Russian flags near the front line in Ukraine’s south-east, according to pro-Kremlin channels. It is not clear when the unverified video was taken, however the timing of its appearance is notable given Donald Trump’s in-person meeting with Vladimir Putin on Friday.
