A Polish court has sentenced a man to more than three years in prison after finding he offered to spy for Russia and pass sensitive security information that officials say could have been used in a potential assassination plot against Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The 50-year-old man, identified as Paweł K. under Polish privacy laws, was sentenced to three years and six months by a district court in the southeastern city of Zamość, Polish security officials confirmed on Tuesday.
