The Communicable Diseases Agency (CDA) is urging travellers to invest in health vaccines and medication this year-end holiday season. This is to avoid getting preventable diseases like malaria and typhoid. CDA says last year, five Singapore residents got malaria and 14 had typhoid, all likely linked to overseas travel.
